PRESS: Russia to create government superapp to avoid sanctions
MOSCOW, Oct 26 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Digital Development Ministry will design a superapp for the state employees to improve information security and independence of the government from the sanction risks.
, business daily Kommersant reported on Tuesday.
“The Digital Development Ministry plans to create a superapp for the bureaucrats – a tender has been already announced for almost 500 million rubles for the development of new automated workplaces,” the daily said.
The superapp will comprise a messenger, video conferencing, e-mail, cloud storage, and other tools needed for work of a government official.
“The first functional prototype of the state employee superapp will be launched by the end of 2022 – at the customs, the Federal State Statistics Service, the Pension Fund, the Economic Development Ministry, and the State Courier Service,” the daily said.
